The French justice issues an international arrest warrant against Carlos Ghosn | Economy

The French justice has issued this Thursday an international arrest warrant against Carlos Ghosn, the former president of Nissan-Renault, according to French media reports. The motoring tycoon has been “surprised”, a spokesman told the Reuters agency, since he “has always cooperated with the authorities”.

Ghosn is accused of funneling millions of dollars of Renault funds through the Omani car dealer for his personal use, including for the purchase of a yacht.

The magistrates have issued five international arrest warrants against Ghosn and the current owners or former directors of the company Suhail Bahwan Automobiles, a car distributor in Oman, reports The Wall Street Journal.

He knows in depth all the sides of the coin.
